During the investigation, Thorsten Falke meets an old friend and neighbourhood veteran, Michael Lübke (Michael Thomas), and is faced with his own St. Pauli past as a young bouncer. In view of prostitution and modern human trafficking, his colleague Julia Grosz appears to be inappropriate for any nostalgic neighbourhood bond. Together they hunt down the killer and his backers before the smouldering war escalates in the red light district. Falke’s old friend and mentor Lübke turns out more and more to be a tricky antagonist…
