One of the most unusual friendships in children’s literature is back: for the first time in its long and successful history Boy Lornsens novel Robbi, Tobbi, and the Fliewatüüt is adapted for the screen. After “The Vampire Sisters” and “The Pasta Detectives 2” this is the new adventure for the whole family from the star director Wolfgang Groos who was able to assemble an international cast for the project: Alexandra Maria Lara (“Rush“), Sam Riley (“Control“), Friedrich Mücke (“Friendship! “), Jördis Triebel (“Emma’s Bliss“), Bjarne Mädel (“Stromberg “) star with the robot Robbi, child actor Arsseni Bultmann („The Nanny“) as Tobbi and newcomer Melina Mardini as the Inuit girl Nunu, and presenting the popular “Wissen macht Ah!“-moderator Ralph Caspers in his first role. The novel, published by Thienemann Publishing Stuttgart/Wien, was modernised and adapted for the big screen by Jan Berger (“The Physician”).
